It was a beautiful autumn morning the leaves were all bright with colors of yellow reds greens and gold there was a wonderful cool crispness in the air and you could feel and see that winter was coming on Because all the forest creatures was busy stocking their shelters the squirrels were busy gathering acorns the birds were chattering away preparing for their long flight south for the winter even the bears were busy getting ready for their long winter hibernation all animals big and small in the magic forest was in a rush on this lovely autumn morning so the hustle and bustle in Jadestone Village was much the same because it was the most special of days for the greenhearts it was harvest time and everyone young and old alike had special assignments even the smallest ones had a chore to do on this day because it was a most important of all days in jadestone village for it’s the day Greenhearts gives thanks to mother earth for her abundance of goodness that she bestows on them . The harvest festival was the ultimate of celebration in the village and everyone was doing their part. So Little Joe and Ben were out gathering up the winter supply of wood for warm winter fires So back in the village Chellie, Dea and Krissy were doing their part by helping with all the decorations for tonight’s festival and Grandma Daria was very busy putting up the harvest with the help of her two youngest grandsons Alex and Eddie. All the other villagers was just as busy with their chores because tonight would be filled with fun and games there would be loads of fun, with music, food dancing and contest and No one would want to miss it. Ben and Little Joe. Were busy loading their wagon with fire wood when they first heard a sad and trouble cry coming from the trees behind them Little Joe looked up at Ben on hearing the loud cry and ask Ben in astonishment did you hear that? Ben looking just as surprised and replied Yes I did But I Don’t know what it could be? The two youngsters had never encountered anyone in the magic forest before only animals so this made the two very curious Maybe we should take a look I think it came from over there said Little Joe and he. Pointed to the direction he thought he had heard the cries come from Ben in agreement nodded his head and the two left their wagon and went searching for who ever it might be that sounded so troubled. They didn’t have to look far before they came upon a small human boy child that was sitting with his knees pulled to his chest and his arms folded over them with his head buried in his arms and the saddest cries you had ever heard was coming from the poor little boy. Little Joe and Ben looked at each other and both said what they were thinking at the same time. We had better try and help him the two said in agreement. So the two little greenhearts appeared before the sobbing boy child and ask him why are you crying Little Joe spoke first asking the little Boy are you hurt? What has you so sad Ben Added--. the little boy shook his head in disbelief of the two tiny greenhearts before his eyes don’t be afraid the two said to the little boy we are here to help you. The little boy replied I must be dreaming and still shaking his head trying to clear his vision of what had to be a trick of his imagination (so he thought) No Little Joe said we heard you crying and thought you might need some help or someone to talk with. Yes we are here to help you so tell us what is your name Ben Ask trying to help calm the little boy.

About the Book
After his officer left the room, Blackstone sat at his desk and began remembering a time that was so long ago, but remembering like it was just yesterday, the real reason for his invasion of Jadevillie. He was a young sorcerer then the wonderful memory of fighting along side his uncle, Oh, how he loved his uncle, as much love as an evil monster could feel. Blackstone’s uncle had been the greatest of all sorcerers. His uncle had taught him everything he knew about being a powerful and evil master. The memories were flooding him now, the fuel that kept him going the hate he felt for all greenhearts. It was Daria's fault. She is the reason his uncle no longer existed and the reason he had spent so many years in the darkest of prisons. She was the fuel of his hatred, and he intended to destroy them all. She had taken his uncle from him in that battle and sent himself to that dark prison hoping to rehabilitate him to the good side. Since his return he had gained most of his powers back, but he wanted more he wanted the destruction of Daria and all the Greenhearts. Mostly, he wanted her to pay for what she had done to him and his reward would be double. He would have the revenge he had always dreamed of and the power of the Jadestone, too. How wonderful this made him feel, just the memory of his uncle and the smell of victory he had waited so long for. Soon, this day would come and soon it would all be, so Blackstone had a plan to trap them all and he couldn’t wait.
About the Author
I was born in 1952 in a small town of Texas near Fort Worth. I grew up on a small farm there with my two younger brothers and sister. I guess that tells you I am the oldest of four. I lived in Kansas for over twenty years where I raised my wonderful children. I am now living on the central coast of California with my husband and mother. I have five children and nine grandchildren. I began my writing career as a past time. I had never given any thought to ever having them published, it was just something I would do to escape and relax. Then one day while I was spending the day playing with my grandchildren, I thought why not write a story based on their personalities. Children are wonderful, and they see things so innocently, so as I was writing this story it seemed to grow and grow. When my family and friends would read what I had wrote they started telling me hey why not try and get it published. I created the Greenhearts based on my grandkids personalities, but while creating this story, I also thought I could create a story that would help bring my grandkids to understand how God works. He is there for us no matter what we are or what religion we might be he will always there for us. And so, like the continuing Tales of the Greenhearts, we will wait and see where this great adventure will takes us next.
