About the Book
A story about the people of
Six Days of the Pigs is based on events that could have
happened in a real atmosphere and environment. All characters, while fictional,
could have existed, and many undoubtedly did.
The plot was set in a real time of events. The story depicts the
interaction between power and money seekers and those average folks who kept
functioning routinely each day. Interspersed are a few average leaders of
uncommon spunk who tried to buck the system. The tragic ending could well have
happened – and may yet actually happen.
About the Author
Except for well-known, usually senile, writers of books who have ceded their writing to ghostwriters but whose inane books still sell because of the author’s reputation, it is better to say little or nothing about the author of a book, but simply let the prose do the talking. However, to provide a wee bit of information, for whatever it is worth, the author of Six Days of the Pigs is well versed in the subject about which he writes. He lives in North Carolina, the setting of the novel, with his wife of thrity-five years, and has two sons and two granddaughters. He is a college graduate, a journalist and is self-described as functionally literate.
