About the Book

Romance and heroism combine when Chief Sundance and Poco Joe Mcgilly team up to capture the Sherman's giddy up gang. The setting is in the 1860s. The good guys versus the bad, ugly and the mean. Sheriff Poco Joe walks in a saloon and finds his wife to be being mishandled by a flirtatious drunken man. A drink gone to far, a fight breaks out and he saves his woman from despair. Through the fights and arrests, Sheriff Poco Joe is stricken with grief of his deputy. Love is in the air when Chief Sundance weds Philpa Blackhawk and their first son is born and named Eagle Creek. Chief Sundance says a powerful prayer to the great sprit in the sky, which may be the reason for the great storm of the 1800s. Through the years Sheirff Poco Joe decides to debate for a position of mayor of Sun Valley Grove.
