God has to empower us with a spirit to overtake and command such a simpleton spirit to come out of us. Satan does not want people to repent, so we don’t. He does not want us to have faith, so we don’t. He definitely does not want us to have the Holy Spirit, so we don’t seek God’s Spirit. Yet, my Christian brother and sister, do not be hoodwinked by this oaf and allow him to cheat you out of your glorious reward in sharing in the God experience. The experience God will shower upon those who love Him and keep His commandments will be the delivering factor in your life. God’s power will coat the flesh and overtake it in a manner in which it will never control you again. You will have complete control over the will of the flesh. The desires of your body will not lead you into everlasting darkness again and have you associating with Satan and his demons once again. You are lifted into a place of explicit peace and righteousness. Your spirit will become mesmerized and filled with wonderment to why you waited so long for God’s cleansing. Yes, you are new and your carnal nature is dead in spirit and in mind. Your thoughts are no longer longing for sinful pleasures but for the sweet freshness of life and its raptures. I say to you, crave to have the removal of condemnation off your life and the majesty of God’s Holy Spirit to consume you. When Christians walk after Jesus Christ they turn down the ways of the flesh and follow the Spirit. For this reason, Christ left glory, clothed Himself in sin, and conquered sin and death to show that we have the ability to do the same. "--That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." (Romans 8:4-13).

This six-chapter manuscript looks at the origin of Satan as recorded in scripture, his character qualities, ways that Satan tempts people and how to resist those temptations, and Satan’s final defeat. Unlike many books on Satan, this book emphasizes holy living. It treats the practical areas of sexuality, family responsibility, financial prudence, and personal relationships. I view drugs, alcohol, and violence, as some of Satan’s many ways to destroy people and admonish readers to resist these evils as instruments of Satan. About the Author
Rev. Marvin L. Holden II has been a licensed and ordained minister of fourteen years and spiritual speaker and teacher of the work of God.
