About the Book
Karl Marx, the Apostle of Hate, and His Legacy is dedicated to the traditional enemies of the capitalist civilization – Marxism and communism. Who was really Marx, whose ideas have competed with the Bible? What were his philosophical, psychological and family roots? What did make him tick? Why the developed by Marx and his disciples theory became the new faith in the name of which the world was shattered, revolutions began, and a great number of people were enslaved, persecuted and perished? What features of Marxism led to those terrible human tragedies, and have they affected our time? Is Marxism just a memory, or still very much alive? Both Marxist dinosaurs and the postmodern, flexible and sophisticated Marxists, who have revised some dogmas and a violent message of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin, argue that the basic premises of Marxist teaching are still accurate. Are they accurate, indeed? This book considers Marxism in a grand historical context. We are exploring the roots of Marxism, its macro-historical origins, and its impact on our culture.
