About the Author
Muliebrity Brawn is the
granddaughter of a vaudevillian husband and wife weight lifting team who
performed on stage and in the circus during the 1920s. As a child, Muliebrity
was exposed to the many family tales of her grandmother’s legendary feats of strength
in public and in the home.
On her twelfth birthday
Muliebrity received a set of weights from her parents and promptly began
working out with them. At that time she was inspired to write about her
grandmother, portraying her as the super-woman equal of the legendary Paul
Bunyan and the famed strongman Sandow. Muliebrity received an A+ in English
class for her story.
Muliebrity is the mother of
two, and when she is not at home doing household tasks she is in the family gym
working out with her colorful dumbbells and barbells. She is known as “Truck
Jack” and “Mommy Muscle” by her son and daughter. Her husband of seventeen
years respectfully refers to her as “The Gym Warden.”
