DO WHAT HE SAYS,
MOVE IN MY FAITH,
SO THEY CAN SEE JESUS
I WILL HUMBLE MY SELF
TO THE HUMAN RACE,

I WILL LIFT UP HIS NAME,
AND NOT BE ASHAMED

TO THE ONE WHO IS AWARE

TRYING TO MAKE IT, MOVING ON.
I JUST CAN’T SEE TO GO ON,
BUT I HAVE A BREAK COMING MY WAY
NOW RENT IS DUE AND I DON’T KNOW ANY THING NEW
MY CHILDERN ARE HERE SAFE AND WARM
THE POWER STAYS ON THROUGH THE STORM
I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK
AND I CAN HARDLY SLEEP
MY MIND IS NOT HERE I FEEL REALLY WEAK.
IT IS TIME TO PRAY
WHEN I GET THIS WAY
I WILL CALL ON THE LORD
AND HE WILL SHOW ME THE WAY
I DON’T KNOW WHY I LET IT GO SO LONG
JESUS IS THERE; HE IS CLOSER THAN A PHONE
SO I CAN RAISE MY VOICE AND CALL ON HIM
HE IS MY DEAREST FRIEND
HE KEEPS FOOD IN MY HOUSE
AND WORK ON THE WAY
I AM SO HAPPY HE IS HERE TODAY
AND MY CHILDREN ARE HERE
SAFE AND WARM,
AND THE LORD’S POWER STAYS ON
THROUGH THE STORM.

THE HOPE I HAD IN THIS WORLD WAS HOLDING ME LIKE A BALL & CHAIN
I COULD NEVER LIVE THE WAY I SHOULD
SO I STARTED TO CHANGE
THEY MAY LAUGH AT ME
AND THEY MAY EVEN CURSE ME,
BUT WHEREVER I GO I AM A BLESSED SOUL
UNTIL I MET JESUS, UNTIL I MET MY LORD,
HE HAS TAKEN ME BY THE HAND
AND MADE MY LIFE A BRAND NEW STAND
AND NOW I KNOW THE JESUS
WHO DID DIE FOR ME
AND WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD
SET ME FREE
UNTIL I MET JESUS, UNTIL I MET MY LORD,
HE HAS ASK ME TO COME ABOARD
AND HE PLACED HIS SWORD IN MY HAND
TO PREACH THE WORD TO THIS LAND.

About the Book
These poems have been written for the souls of the people that are looking to ask if God is alive. Read this book and ask your self this question, "Where is my soul going to spend eternity." If you say that you do not have a soul, then you are deceiving yourself. If you deceive yourself and people follow, you then you will be leading them astray. All I am trying to say is that this poem book will help lift the soul, maybe bring a little hope or a smile to the heart that is hurting. When the body does not feel good, we ask for some type of medicine. When the soul is not feeling well, it needs to be lifted up. We need to start with prayer and read the word of God first. That is the true food of our being, poetry is from the heart. I have found everybody has something to say to everybody! This book is what I have to say about Jesus (GOD) in my life. Back to the question: "Were is your soul going to spend eternity, with God or without God?" Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead and you will be saved. God Bless! Amen!
About the Author
My family and I live in a small town on the west coast we have been here over thirty years, life is really good here, and my job as well. I meet a lot of people, as I have been in the construction field most all of my life. I have met all kinds of people. When I was in high school I was not at the top of my class. I will go on to say that if someone would have said that in the year two thousand I was going to start writing poems and have songs recorded to in Nashville, I would have said you are out of you mind or you don’t know what you are saying. I was the guy that struggled in school, which means I was a C- student most of the time. I did not do well in school when I went. So with out a doubt, I know that all that I have is a gift from God. My wife, our children, our home, our dogs and cats, and the food that we eat are from my Lord. When I asked the Lord Jesus to be Lord of my life, this is just some of the fruit that he has placed in our lives. We also have eight children’s short stories that have been written, and some day they will be little books. Thank you, and may the Lord Jesus be your light.
