What is Tax Defaulted Paper? We define it as Real Estate related tax liens or tax deeds that are created by Counties across the United States as the result of non-payment of real estate taxes.

It has been said that in life timing is everything. As I look around at the precarious state of the economy, the roller coaster stock market, and the low rate of return on investments coupled with the still high cost of borrowing, I know that when it comes to the Tax Lien and Deed industry, THE TIME IS NOW.


About the Author

Lillian Villanova began her professional career in New York as a practicing attorney and Adjunct Professor for the City of New York University System. Upon moving to Florida, she began to pursue her first love, sales and marketing.

As a corporate executive, and then as a private consultant, she has worked extensively in the arena of home-based business and self-directed investment opportunity. Having created a number of departments for a large company, which marketed business, investment and other home-based income producing opportunities to the public, she came in contact, on a daily basis with hundreds of individuals who desired to or who had started their own home based businesses or self-directed investment portfolios. She became very familiar with and experienced at dealing with their concerns and modifying products and personalized coaching to fit their needs.

While she has since founded her own private consulting company with offices in Florida and Colorado, she is still very much involved in the area of home-based business and self-directed investment. Many of her clients are entrepreneurs, lecturers and experts in the field of creating wealth or Direct Marketing companies selling Business and investment opportunities or information to would be home-based entrepreneurs.

She has, over the course of her career, written how to manuals for specific investment and business opportunities, set up departments and criteria for assisting home-based business people and developed related products and services specifically geared to the home-based businessperson. In addition to her corporate clients, she currently working on articles manuals and customized programs to enable an entrepreneur to start grow and operate a business or create a self-directed investment portfolio.

Able to research and write on almost any topic, she recently finished editing a book for one of her clients. The book is entitled Heart’s Journey, Reclaiming Your Power of Choice.

Recently, she has been busy representing a number of experts and professional investors in the Tax Lien and Deed industry, acting as the Chief Acquisitions Officer for a large TDP portfolio, writing her next book and setting up a coaching program for individuals who are serious about succeeding in that industry.

In addition to her busy marketing career, Ms. Villanova has had numerous speaking engagements and conducted training sessions on various topics including: Insurance Equality Law, Sales and Marketing of specific products and services, Sexual Harassment in the Workplace and How to Save the Sale. She has been certified by the United States Coast Guard as an Instructor Trainer and as a Sexual Harassment Training Facilitator for its Civilian and Military Personnel. She currently splits her time between Denver, Colorado and Flagler Beach, Florida.
