About the Book

This 21st book of poetry by Rosemary Wilkinson culminates a collection of poetry for the reader to travel along with the poet into distant lands to learn of their poets, cultures and feeling the deep pulse of the nations, and the people. Since 1973 Rosemary has attended 20 of the 21 World Congress of Poets so far and they are scheduled to meet every year by host nations up until 2013. Poets leave their garrets and professions of all kinds, scientists, medicine, education, housewifery, lawyers, poets of every discipline imaginable for the calling to poetry is an innate gift from God and unless used it will be taken away, given to others more endowed. Poets/Painters/Musicians are all gifted to follow what is placed deep within their souls and that is why education must feed this gift along with all other required subjects in order to bring forth the students gifts and reason they want to attend school every day. To deny this to students is to encourage use of drugs, guns, dropouts, disrespect for society and collective social disorder whereby we disappoint students through denial of their daily needs.
