About the Book

Lieutenants (j.g.) Jackson ‘Sinker’ Fairbanks, Pauline ‘Tinker’ Bell and Martha ‘Sunshine’ Conklin are students in the U.S. Navy’s F-14 Fighter Replacement Squadron based at NAS Miramar, ‘AFightertown USA.’

These pilots, and friends undergo a grueling training program, endure tragedy and hardship, experience love and denial, face life and death.

From the heights of elation to the depths of despair, each, in his or her own way, must face, define and come to terms with The Killer Instinct.
