About the Book

Mullets and Mayhem: True Tales of Coming of Age in the Late 1980’s is a collection of author Noah Karchmer’s memoirs during 1988 through 1992, the time he attended college. Feeling it was time to share his delightfully humorous tales with the world, Karchmer has compiled forty-eight short stories that serve to conjure up some nostalgia, not only as a timepiece, but also as to what it was like to be young and carefree, from a rather unique male perspective. The stories should strike a chord with those who ever tried to enter a bar or buy beer before they were of legal age, got sick from drinking too much, became paranoid after getting high, tried unsuccessfully to understand the opposite sex, or simply wanted to rock and roll all night and party every day. In addition, the reader is introduced to many colorful and highly identifiable characters along the way. Most importantly, the stories are destined to provide big laughs for men and women alike.

About the Author

Noah D. Karchmer is a Software Test Specialist by trade, but more importantly, is a self-proclaimed amateur comedian and is known to several as the funniest man alive. He has recently dusted off his trusty 1962 Smith-Corona typewriter (well, actually it was more like a 1999 Gateway PC) in order to write his first humor book, a collection of short stories entitled Mullets and Mayhem: True Tales of Coming of Age in the Late 1980’s. Mr. Karchmer resides in the Washington, DC area.
