About the Book

Finding the Way Home is a book of poems that I have written within the past seven to eight years. My poems deal with emotions, hard decisions, and growth in my life. Home in my opinion, is a place where you feel comfortable about yourself and your flaws. You must accept who you are and fight your way to get to this place. Many people, including me, have gone through hurdles, rivers, and other interferences in the way of our dreams and destinations. But if your head is down, brush off the negativity and keep moving. You will get there. So I’m sharing my experience with the world.

About the Author

My name is Fabiola Sully and I am twenty-six years old. I was born in Brooklyn, New York, however, I currently live in Long Island. I have attended Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York, and Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York. I have a degree in Health Information Management and Liberal Arts, and have worked in the medical field. My hobbies are listening to music, (Alternative, R&B, Rock, Latin, and Classical), watching movies, shopping, writing, swimming, working with computers, bowling, enjoying the arts, and being around people. I hope to travel in the near future. I have been writing for eight years and two years ago I got back into it seriously and wanted to show off my works. I decided to put all my poems I have written together and formed my first book. I am also working on my first novel titled Cameron’s World. It’s about a lady in her late twenties who thought she had her life together until her family, obstacles, and the dreams of her past attempt to break her down. I hope to finish it within a year or two. In conclusion, I am open to all genres of poetry and fiction and I hope to be successful in the future.
