About the Book
An experiment in free-form writing and lack of sleep, At My Wit's End dwells deep into the very synapses of humor and wit. By putting a twist on commonly heard quotes, clichés, and stereotypes, the author forces you, uncomfortably, to look at our world from a different perspective. With humorous observations, questions, and unusual advice, you soon get the feeling you might not ever look at life, or yourself, the same way again.
Whether this book makes you laugh, or makes you think, it will hopefully make you think about laughing. So assume nothing and expect even less. Clear your mind of all you've ever learned, except how to read, and take a journey into the world of irreverent thoughts and witticisms.
About the Author
In the late '80s, while still a teenager, Patrick Kirk Gillock began doing stand up comedy as an outlet for his unusual and creative perspective. Years later he used his comedic talents for television, film (including starring in a full length feature), print, and on the Internet by maintaining a website featuring satirical articles and humor (LaundryDay.com). For almost 15 years he's been involved with, in every capacity and medium, the art of comedy. And now, all his experience and wit, has culminated into the 300 page At My Wit's End, his biggest and most satisfying project thus far.
