About the Book
As we all know, "Kids say the darndest things." However, the author found that kindergarten kids say and do the funniest things, confirmed after seeing the reactions to her stories by other staff, family, and friends. Could you imagine putting your hand in a child’s backpack and pulling out a plastic bag with a turkey neck in it? Could you imagine coming into the classroom and seeing the teacher with red paint all over her? These are two of the stories the author wrote about.
About the Author
Grace Bellomo lives in Port Washington, New York, with her husband, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She worked as an educational assistant in the Port Washington School District for eighteen years, the last nine of which were spent in a kindergarten class. Mrs. Bellomo found such humor and joy in the innocence of the children and the ways that they expressed themselves that she wanted to share that enjoyment with others.
