About the Author
Maria grew up in Germany during the rise and fall of Hitler’s Third Reich. She attended The Teacher’s Institute for Women at the University of Bayreuth. With a flair for languages and the ambition to become a foreign correspondent, she minored in Latin, English, French, and Italian. When she met and married Capt. John Gibson, she became instead the first German war bride. As a career officer’s wife she lived in diverse places in America and abroad and enjoyed travels in many different countries. After John’s retirement from the Army, they settled in Augusta, Georgia. It is in the garden of her home where Maria renews her once close relationship with the Lord – where she has many life-changing spiritual experiences – where she is the recipient of hundreds of inspired songs and two inspired books: God’s Trumpet Call – A Final Warning and The Illogical Ways of God. As founder of The Master’s Watchmen Ministry and by hosting a weekly radio program, Maria proclaims the Good News of the Gospel in Word and Song.
