FOREWORD
The purpose of Beware the Man with a Mustache, is not to look for undesirable traits in others. The purpose is to examine some observations in life that might help us identify, and correct, our own undesirable traits, as well as re-enforcement our positive ones.
Most of these observations have held true over many generations and have been documented by many great authors. Others are "generalizations," that have in my opinion, insight and merit. However, they are still "generalizations," and this means they will not be accurate in all cases. For example, I’ve known some wonderful people who have mustaches. If they possess the undesirable traits shown, I’ve yet to see them. In general, though, I’ve found the "generalizations" to be on target, and worthy of consideration.
As you move through this book, please try to identify the seven traits upon which you most would like to improve. This book is about personal growth, and it is my hope that you will accomplish just that.
