THE CONSTELLATIONS
The constellations, the worlds of the universe,
What do these bodies do?
How do they serve another,
And the world of I and your?
They give us light and the seasons,
They give us day and night,
They give us warmth and coldness,
The time and tides alright.
They give us heat waves and cyclones,
They give us plants and trees,
They give the lakes and rivers,
And oceans and the seas.
They tell us our potentials,
They into the future see,
Some greats vouch that they even reveal,
Man’s fate and destiny.
Some say they’re intelligences,
And they can even foretell,
When greats, this plane will visit,
Some say they hear as well.
Constellation oversee everything,
An architect hinted to me,
The constellations advised the builders,
That they can construct skyscrapers in New York City.
Now I have caught your interest,
Read on and you will see,
That these bodies are truly great
What ever they happen to be.
The Sun
Needed by all, needing no one,
He range the heaven in glory,
And no one dares to look in the face,
His solar Majesty.
Symbol of highest Charity,
He’s brighter than anyone,
His presence activates the world,
His majesty the sun.
He has never disappointed the people,
Who on his favor waits,
He’s always present where he should be,
He is regular true and great.
He comes when he should and leaves when he must,
There is something he wants us to know,
A something we cannot adjust to,
We have come, and we will have to go.

About the Author
Lazare Sevastien Eustache was born December 18, 1923 in Trinidad, West Indies, to Denister and Fabien Eustache.
He is a graduate of Government Teachers Training College of Trinidad and Tobago, and is presently a student of the City University of New York, U.S.A.
