but there is not many that likes to please God above.
We like to be pleased, but often we know not how to
please ourselves.
We mumble and grumble about things we must do.
We fuss and fret, until we make ourselves blue.

About the Book
This book is made up of poems, prayers, and expressions since God changed my life on September 1, 1960. I am so happy and so thankful for this new life, which I did not know existed. After my new life began, I started to write. I would write about the miracles and blessings that God was giving me. As I continued to grow in the spirit, I was inspired to continue to write as I fasted and prayed. I found out that I had a gift, so I began to write poems for wedding, funerals, and other special events. One special reason for my writing is to try to express to God my love, thankfulness, joy, and peace that I found in Him. Then, I decided to get a book printed so that I could share my wonderful life in Jesus Christ with my fellow men and women.
About the Author
Blondell G. Davis was born in Fort Pierce, Florida in 1942, and educated at Lincoln Junior College. "After God gave me a new life, I began to write about it. I am so glad, glad that God came and knocked on my door. I heard his call on September 1, 1960, and then I received the Holy Ghost. Since then, God has done outstanding miracles in my life."
