About the Author

Born in 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the author spent most of his memorable childhood on a farm outside of Claremore, Oklahoma. Growing up near the hometown of Will Rogers, he couldn’t help but learn to appreciate human nature and become fascinated with its intricacies. He started his writing career in high school when he began writing short stories and working on the school paper. Although he loved writing and set his ultimate goal on becoming a professional writer, he needed an immediate income. Putting his writing career on hold, he began developing his second love, business. His business career spans some thirty years, five states, and twenty-something moves--a career that brought him in contact with a wide variety of people and places. Although most of his writing during the past thirty years has been of the business/technical nature, his desire to write novels has never left him. Known for his quick wit and compassion for people, the author has always been recognized as a unique leader with an uncanny ability to win the hearts and minds of those around him.

Currently, Mr. Talley is the Vice President for a communications engineering consulting firm. He resides on a farm in southern Missouri with his wife of twenty years, where he raises beef and is finally taking the time to write those novels.
