About the Book

This book is about Israel. More specifically, it is on what Israel ought do in this fateful hour. It shows that in order to take a significant step toward lasting peace, Israel must say 'No' to self-annihilation, to a "peaceful" extinction, and discontinue the so-called 'peace process' that has become a 'piece-meal' 'final-solution'.

The book addresses the following fundamental question: 'How shall Israel proceed in a region where the complete annihilation of the Jews is immutably synonimous with the so called 'liberation of Palestine'?

Israeli politicians seem to be deliberately or inadvertently transforming their country into Pompeii before Vesuvius. This is taking place as Israelis are lulled into pursuing la dolce vita. As the French playwright Moli re maintains, "one is easily fooled by that which one loves," and it seems that they are substituting the pursuit of peace for the shortsightedness of easy living.

This book elucidates the Israel's political blindness and shows that it is not too late for political discourse to regain its long lost sanity.

Both Jew and Gentile will find this book illuminating and alarming. It is a must for all who are concerned with Israel's existence and with strengthening world democratic regimes. Israel's true friends should tell Israel: 'You are not allowed to commit suicide!'

About the Author

It is well known that simple people, without excessive formal education may possess strong common sense. George Burns remarked: "Too bad all the people who know to run the country are busy driving taxicabs and cutting hair". Looking at the State of Israel, for example, one arrives at an inescapable conclusion that common men would run the country more effectively, not necessarily based merely on hope.

Yet, some people with higher education, even in their ivory towers can clearly detect Israel's suicidal march towards "peaceful" extinction, G-d forbid. In Professor Elishakoff's newest book, "he uncovers and analyzes the destructive presumptions of the so called peace process", as stated by The Jewish Press.

Dr. Isaac Elishakoff is Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering and Professor of Mathematics in the College of Science, in Florida (since 1989). He was born in the Republic of Georgia, former Soviet Union. He received his Ph.D. from Moscow Power Engineering Institute & Technical University in 1971. In 1972 he emigrated (made Aliah) to Israel.
