About the Author

Phil Scott is a Mathematician with post-graduate qualifications in Management Science. He has had the benefit of some serious training from IBM in the days of the 'main-frame' and has led his own teams of experts for 25 years. Using the techniques described in this book, Phil has successfully developed and integrated a wide range of software and computer equipment for all types of industry.

Amongst these numerous systems are included two successful packages - an Accounting and Management Information System for Ford Dealers and a suite of ten Financial Management systems designed as one database using Fourth Generation software. With his team he has also supplied facilities management services to a large bank.

Phil has also provided consulting services to larger corporations including IBM, Caltex Oil, British Petroleum, AA Finance, ANZ Banking Group, Norwich Insurance, Telecom (New Zealand) and a wide range of other organizations.
