About the Author
Alvin L. Ureles is Professor of Medicine Emeritus at an upstate New York medical school. Specializing in Internal and Nuclear Medicine, he is married with three children and six grandchildren. He has published over forty scientific articles, eight textbook chaps, and one volume of poetry. Ureles is a two time Avery Hopwood Literary Award winner at the University of Michigan.
