About the Book

Miasma is the powerful female archetype. She is a descendant of the goddess Diana, a being of immense powers but also of incomparable physical beauty. Miasma appears as the exhalation of the earth. Being born of the soil, she is the guardian of the natural habitat and of all of its inhabitants. As such, she can harness the tremendous powers of nature to do her bidding.

In the novel, she fights with all of her fabulous powers against the evildoers that try to enrich themselves at the expense of their fellow men. She is very conscious of the rights of others such as the preservation of the Indian burial grounds that are endangered by the developers.

Miasma also displays her great intelligence as she defeats the enemies set against her as well those sent to neutralize her and to destroy her.

Throughout the novel she develops more and more as a caring, alluring, beautiful being whose silvery beauty adds to the splendor of the night. And she shows that she is capable of loving and of falling in love.

This novel comes from Louisiana where tales of the supernatural have always been fascinating. The author has been careful to not only create a work filled with action, adventure, mystery, splendor, and thrills but also a novel of literary merit.
