About the Author
The author spent many years in Washington DC writing light speeches for officials and people in public office. He specialized in speeches that required humor or verbal illustration to support or amplify the subject of discussion. It turned out that such illustration or short humor on any specific subject was difficult to find, or did not exist in the libraries or bookstores, so he had to create his own source of material. This encyclopedia is the result of fifteen years of collecting and editing selective illustrations of every type and size, from the brief proverb to the narrated anecdotes and humorous story.
