About the Book

This book consists of poetry written and illustrated by an eight-year-old. This little author has sprinkled the pages of Poetry for A Child with precious pearls of wisdom. Her insightful rhymes allow the reader the view the world through the eyes of a gifted child-poet. Colors, birds, stars clouds, and emotions take on new dimensions as she uses her pen and brush to illuminate what we often take for granted. A great gift for a child-especially the child who aspires to write.
