Now it is time to acknowledge the progress that was made by the C.N.A.'s (California Nursing Assistant) in the past decades. We call this book a review of some of the events that happen in a C.N.A.'s line of duty. It gives us an opportunity to respect and to celebrate our early beginnings in the field of education. We will review some events that have happened in our past class days at the Adult School.
Some days were very erratic for us because of not knowing of the lesson plans or the daily routines of classroom activities. However, most students did master these activities which helped make them successes later in life.
Some students did have mixed emotions about simple tasks like working on a team, ambulating patients, bathing, taking vital signs, charting, or participating in holiday and season events that happened daily. These were hectic times for some beginners. However, these times passed, and many careers in nursing begin.
Keeping the C.N.A. school spirit alive is an every day task. Putting our lives to better use is a labor of love that knits our lives with the field of nursing. This is our way of lightening the cumbersome burdens that surrounds us and helps relieve them with love for everyone within our reach. This is our sacred trust in having faith in the Almighty God, He is our belief and relief, that is why the C.N.A. spirit is still alive, because it lives within our hearts and soul.
