I have never forgotten the day I met you.
I roll it over and over in my mind,
each day,
each night,--
always.
It brings a smile to my face.
Never in my wildest dreams did I suspect the impact you would have
on me and within me.
You accepted me for who I was.
I wanted you for who you were.
‘Need’, ‘want’, ‘love’, old words that now had new meanings for me.
‘You’, ‘me’, ‘us’, these words became a new path for me to follow.
Touching had never before been so important to me--until you.
I’ve learned so much in such a short time. Knowing you, experiencing you has been so wonderful.
Life became wonderful.
‘Need’, ‘want’, and ‘love’,
yes these words now had new meanings for me.

About the Book
The book is a poetic account of one man’s journey and growth with the many aspects of love. Dreaming of that love, seeking that love, finding a love, and losing that love, only to repeat the circle of life we all ultimately go through upon trying to find the love that exists for every one of us in that one true ‘soul mate’--the one love that shall last us the rest of our lives.
About the Author
A man of Italian and Spanish roots who believes in Old World values extending into the New Millennium. Namely, that "the man should always be romantic, always be sincere, and always cherish the one he loves." J. Michael Villafranca was born in El Paso, but now resides in south Texas. He serves the community in the field of physical therapy and continues to believe that each passing day brings him closer to meeting the one that shall be his ‘one true love’.
