About the Author
John A. Cook completed his Ph.D. at North Texas in 1981. Since that time, his work has been devoted to training and consulting to empower professionals and organizations to perform more effectively. He has taught communications and management at Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Cameron College and Nova University. He has designed and led programs for developing leadership, communication, human resource management, priority management, conflict resolution, and team building programs for business and organizations in the public and private sector over 16 years. His clients include the US Department of Transportation, Hewlett Packard, Iomega, Columbia Health Care, The Veteran’s Administration, Merrill Lynch, Ontario’s Ministry of Community and Social Services, ABB, and a variety of manufacturing, service, church, education, and social service organizations. Dr. Cook is a motivational speaker, organizational development communication, wellness, leadership, and training.
