About the Book
Recipes for Body and Soul is an attempt to awaken in its readers the importance of feeding the spiritual as well as the physical entities of their bodies. All the recipes for the physical being are tested and found good to taste and nourish; the writings of Scripture and meditation are to encourage joyful living and learning for the eternal spiritual nature.
About the Author
Glenave (Eubanks) Curtis was born in Senath, Missouri, and graduated from Arbyrd High School. She lived with her parents on a farm until she entered college in Searcy, Arkansas. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from Harding University. Glenave enjoyed teaching all homemaking skills, including foods and nutrition to high school students for twenty-six years. She also welcomes anyone who is eager to learn specific skills, using her home as the classroom and laboratory. For several years, Glenave was a home-tester of recipes for General Mills.Teaching Bible to ladies and teens has been an on-going and fulfilling activity throughout her adult life. She and her husband of fifty-seven years, have enjoyed preparing food for and sharing fellowship with many friends in all walks of life. Glenave is a Christian, a homemaker and a teacher.
