About the Book

"Don't Forget About Us" describes a situation families can encounter when entering into a blended family. This is a critical time during this transition and it is important to consistently tell children they are loved. Children are confused during this time and often times worried that this is happening because of them. This book will help parents or family members explain to the children that they will not be forgotten. It will also help parents communicate that they have not stopped loving him/her. The Parents Page in the back gives parents an opportunity to understand the moral of the story. This is a series of many books to come that will cover many blended family situations.

About the Author

I have been preparing to write children's books on blended families for a while. I have had many years of hands on experience being a step parent as well as being a step child myself during my adolescents. I have always had a dream to share my experiences with others in order to help them get through difficult situations while in a blended family. What a better way to do this than to write children's books about different blended family situations. I currently live in Katy, Texas and I am married to my best friend, Greg. We have two children, which happen to be my step children. I absolutely adore them as if they were my own. I work full time in the software development industry. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family. I love being outside in the fresh air. I also enjoy attending church and volunteering in the community.
