What is the definition of the word “Evil”? Wikipedia states: Evil is the intention or effect of causing harm or destruction], usually specifically from the perception of deliberately violating some moral code. Evil is usually seen as the opposite of good. The philosophical question of whether morality is absolute or relative leads to questions about the nature of evil, with views falling into one of four opposed camps: moral absolutism, a moralism, moral relativism, and moral universalism. The root meaning of the word is of obscure origin though shown to be akin to modern English "over" and modern German über (OE ofer) and "up" (OE up, upp) with the basic idea of transgressing. Each of the above highlighted blue words has further definitions. Personally, this is far too complicated. Evil is abnormal human behavior to harm someone or something, possibly to some planned end. Simple as that, except true Evil may also have some sort of superhuman gift or power behind it. I don’t personally believe in the devil or angels, so the superhuman gift or power mentioned above is present in all of us, for good or evil, but most of us don’t know how to tap it or turn it on at will. The key words above are “most of us”. But some of us have the ability to tap certain gifts or powers. I am one of those individuals, but I didn’t discover the ability until later in life. And I still haven’t really discovered the extent of these gifts. How did I discover or turn on these gifts? Did I pray for them, did I hit my head, and did someone teach me the techniques? None of the above is the appropriate explanation for me. I was watching a news report one day about a serial child molester and killer. The person had been at it for well over 2 years and the authorities were no closer to catching him now than 24 months ago. I was so upset. I said to myself, I am going to find that son of bitch and stop him. And I did find him and I did stop him permanently, but that is another story. This was the first time I ever confronted real “evil” and he scared the hell out of me. I ended up killing him using his own evil gift against him. No body or evidence will ever be discovered.

About the Author
The author is semi-retired with over 40 years experience in Information Technology. His current hobbies are reading, writing, fishing, camping and inventing. He as a BS in Business, and an MS in Telecommunications Management. He was basically a Management Geek during his longest career. He has spoken to groups as large as 10,000 people during his IT career. In college he changed his major many times from; psychology, criminal law, business, telecommunications. He earned a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do, jogged 7 miles a day for over 20 years, had a 70 mile an hour fast ball during little league pitching and held the high school softball distance record for several years. He is the oldest of 8 children whose mother died at age 42 when he was just 16 years old. Religious upbringing was Catholic, but has not practiced any organized religion for over 40 years. Due to his fathers career, he moved 14 times before the age of 16. His father was an electrical and aeronautical engineer. Born in Michigan and has lived in California, Minnesota, Oregon and South Carolina. He raised 4 children in two marriages and his oldest daughter was killed in a car accident at age 24. He has one granddaughter.
