“Cinque Terre” en Italien ou en Français “les Cinq Terres”, se situe dans la partie Nord Est de l’Italie entre Gêne & Pise. Les cinq villages qui constituent Cinque Terre (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola et Riomaggiore) s’étendent sur huit kilomèters (cinq miles) de côtes rocheuses qui sont dominées par de vastes vignobles entourés de murs de pierres sèches.
La très riche histoire de Cinque Terre (ces villages furent crées au moyen âge) et des paysages á vous couper le souffle ont permis la renaissance de la region après des siècles d’isolement. Aujourd’hui les visiteurs viennent par milliers pendant le printemps et l’été.
Même l”UNESCO, á la fin des années 90, a declare le site “patrimoine de l’humanité” de manière á en preserver la richesse et le charactère unique.
Si vous avez la chance de visiter l’Italie maintenant ou plus tard, Cinque Terre doit figurer sur votre itinéraire, vous ne regretterez pas le détour.
