Don’t Lose the Faith Part 1
Two Christian parents gave birth to an amazing gifted child, who at an early age demonstrated great abilities. At only seven months this child would move his figures up and down as if he were counting.
By the time he was five, writing novels was his first hobby, along with writing short stories. At the age of eleven he lost both of his parents due to a car crash. They had left him with his aunt while they attempted to enjoy their second honeymoon.
This was a tremendous shock for him at this early age. For the next several years he became a speechless child. By the time he was in high school this voice was restored through many years of therapy. In church and school, kids sat around him and listened to his voice, and sometimes witnessed tears of pain rolling down his cheeks.
Broken-hearted, God had many plans for this young man’s life. Relationships and dating seemed to be far off in the distance, but problem-solving was his true gift, which he loved.

“I have carried you through some journeys and because of your faith in me you have now proven to be a faithful servant. Now comes many other journeys. Do not let your guard down. I will always be with you. Just call on me.”

About the Book
Pure Thoughts, Volume Three is the third of four books written by Darren B. Rankins. This volume contains dreams, short stories and inspirational poetry which are all part of Darren’s testimony that God lives and directs our lives on a daily basis.
About the Author
Darren B. Rankins was born in
Darren’s passion for writing has given him the opportunity to share his beliefs with others in the form of a successful Christian T-shirt ministry. The shirts are designed with a combination of original poems, beautiful graphics, and timely Bible verses.
Darren loved writing as a hobby, but wanted to have a greater effect on people. He started his own business, called Pure Thoughts, in 1995 to sell his products and expand his circle of influence. He has sold or donated over 6000 t-shirts worldwide. He has contributed to various charities such as the Salvation Army and Feed the Children, as well as many local causes.
Darren is very pleased with the success of his two first book, Pure Thoughts, Volumes One and Two. He has already begun work on his Volume Four. In addition to these books, readers may also look forward to his other books coming soon—Ghetto Stories and Don’t Lose the Faith—The Beginning and the End.
