About the Author

Roy H. Howard, Jr., is a relationship intervention self-enrichment instructor. For over 20 years he has been assisting individuals to re-evaluate their current position on socially challenged relationships. His training began at Fort Hood, Texas, as a drug/alcohol adviser conducting individual substance abuse assessments with soldiers and their families. Roy has volunteered and taught successfully in the federal and state prison systems in Texas for more than five years. He also worked as a volunteer for AIDS Services of Austin and a mentor for Austin Independent School District working with multicultural groups from a non-judgmental perspective. Not only does Mr. Howard reach out to others through his unique teaching style, he also reaches out using his gifts and talents as a musician/composer to positively affect lives. He presently has a songwriting contract with Paramount Group in Nashville, TN, and is co-host of Ax D. Whiteman Show at (www.axdwhiteman.blip.tv).
