About the Author
Lisa Mink graduated from Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo with a Masters in Psychology. She suffered from seizures for many years and thought sharing her experiences might help others with similar afflictions. At the time this book was written she was a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Southern California. Lisa has worked with children, adolescents, and teens for over fifteen years. She currently works with children and their families regarding issues of abuse, trauma, developmental disabilities, and attachment difficulties. Koko is Lisa’s co-therapist and he assists with the therapeutic process in many different ways. He has worked with children as a therapy dog for over five years.
