About the Author

Dr. Ruth Russell is a Professor of Recreation, Park and Tourism Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington. However, this book was inspired by her avocation – many years spent cooking over backpacking stoves, over campfires with children at resident camps, on lake docks and in the galley of cruisers, and in the kitchens of pop-up campers and motor homes.
