Glasgow to Heathrow by B&B and Car

We lost no time getting back to our car. Winding our way out of the carpark, we drove around the lush green park on its teeny tiny roads in our teeny tiny car. We took a narrow side road that twisted and turned but led in the general direction of the exit. It was such a pretty drive that took us among the well-maintained, colorfully blooming flower beds, that we even commented on it. We had not been on a road so thoughtfully laid out, before. It made watching the pavement secondary to enjoying the gardens… I even said to Margaret, “We should have roads like this in our parks. So lovely… all lined with beautiful flower gardens.” But, as we approached its abrupt end we were met by a great surprise. This black asphalt lane we had so enjoyed riding on in the car was not a road at all, but a walkway… a walkway with stairs at the end!
