HISTORY COIN THEATRE. PLANET
In the tenth row, next to projection station, Thyron, Kaialeena, Djwalquoid and Sudraquoil reclined in their seats.
Thyron inserted a History Coin into the slot on the crystal console. On the stage, 5D projections of Huroid attendants' former Crytonnian lifetimes sprang up. Next to their images, their previous and current names appeared for identification purposes.
CHANCELLOR JY HONON -- Orbitoid
He was a tall elder that was handsome enough for a man of his age. His short hair was grey and coiffed. Brows were oddly black under aged brown eyes, wrinkles creasing at the corners. His dark blue skin shined as if it had just been oiled. He was intelligent, literate, cunning, pompous and a racist, and covered up his shortcomings under the guise of a propitious smile when in public. He was clothed in the royal blue robe of power, trimmed in white fur, with a black scaly reptile uniform underneath.
TELEK MONOSON -- Atomquoid
The Chancellor's Militant General. This powerhouse was 6'6 of solid muscle. His penetrating brown eyes demanded attention under dark arched brows. There was strength and force in that stare. Although his look was hard, some might think him ruggedly handsome. His nose was well formed and jaw squared. With a turndown mouth, his plump lips made him look angry all the time. His dirty dark brown hair was lengthy, parted in the middle, somewhat unkempt, and floated past his shoulders. And then there was that skin; deep blue skin, Shiva skin. His uniform was made from black reptile-skin poached from several creatures, the design a combination of scales, horny and boney plates. It fit him like a second layer of skin and he liked the way it accentuated his muscular body.
LOO LORANT -- Djwalquoid
With the slender body of a swimmer, he wore his stature well and dignified. He was quite handsome, looks that revealed his likeability and optimism. He wore his blond hair long and had the most remarkable pale blue eyes. A tall man with slim hips, his everyday attire was a light blue jacket and darker blue pants. He had an invisible sparkle about him, a rarely experienced vitality. But he was looked down upon: his skin was entirely too pale-blue. It was an unspoken judgment amongst the classes: the darker the skin, the purer the bloodline; the lighter the skin the weaker the bloodline. There were three skin fractions: dark blue: the elite nobles; medium blue: middle class citizens; and pale blue, the lowest of the castes.
LYRANNA HONON -- Sudraquoil
The Chancellor’s daughter. Her face was magnificent, aristocratic, with remarkable dark blue coloring. Her almond-shaped eyes were royal blue, framed by arched brows. She had a great mass of blonde hair, and wore it long with a bouncy wave. She adored sapphire jewels for their beauty, not their worth, and fancied to wear the gems sparingly on her person. She was a tall woman, a graceful woman. When she walked, she had the elegance of a dancer, of a ballerina. Refinement radiated around her like a mosaic of light. She wore a long dress that fell stylishly to her ankles; the white material shimmering like pearls and satin. Married to the fabric were violet rings that began at her waist and flowed down the length of her gown. Sandals of white laced up her ankles in a stylish design.
VICEROY KONTAR HOD -- Galaxiroid
A quite good-looking man, with mildly muscular pecks and arms, and a thin waist, was almost as tall as Telek. Those eyes of his looked like pools from the ocean, telling of confidence and stubbornness. That striking short mane of Chestnut hair cut just above squared shoulders, dark blue coloring, and the face of a mustached swashbuckler, made ladies swoon. His blue uniform, sewn with reptile scutes and scales, fit him like the noble he was.
On the holographic screen, Crytonnia planet sharpened into view. A large striped landmass wrapped around the equator that gave way to tropical oceans to the north and south. As the screen pushed in towards its central territory, the sounds of nature filtered in. Pushing in further towards the largest city, the colossal parliament building was impressive. An aquatic tank wrapped around its exterior and extended fifty feet. It was the playground for Jawmeg hatchlings; a cross between the giant sea creatures Liopleurodon and the Buzzsaw Jaw Helicoprion. Its upper and lower lips were long like octopus tentacles and curled above and below the mouth. When approaching prey, it launched those lip tentacles to snare its flesh, suction cups assuring no escape as it pulled it into its mouth and chewed its victim between finely sharpened teeth. The Jawmeg is the national reptile for its sheer strength, agility and death grip.
Hellitross city was always bustling, and sprawled across the ocean line further than the eye could perceive. The surrounding buildings were various shades of blue, others white. There were no flowers, only green-blue trees and bushes, with grass similar to dichondra, only triangular-shaped. One might think this place strange in its color theme, but when seen by the eyes, it is quite the visual feast. Also deftly beautiful are the ingenious curves of the waterways that intersect with parks dedicated to aquatic reptilian creatures bountiful in ponds, pools and small lakes. The birds are all of the reptile family, some feathered, while others have reptile skin with brightly-colored appendages.
On the temple mound, just above the city, statues of blue Gods stood regally, men held in high esteem on this world. The largest is of the current Chancellor, while past Chancellors' statues were smaller, surrounding him in a half-circle. Sweet smoke rose up from altars at these self proclaimed Demigods' feet, wafting across the land, to remind its citizens of the sacrifices these men made for them.
