About the Book

This is a monkey tale about wanting something that’s not ready to be had. Chico the Monkey has great determination, but he learns that sometimes we also need to have patience when waiting for things that we may have to wait for.

About the Author

Ever since Peter Di Lisi was young, he loved using his imagination to create stories that would entertain family and friends. Over the last ten years Peter has really perfected his writing style in making all his stories have lovable characters along with some great morals, and told in a fun upbeat rhyming style. He grew up in the small town of Port Perry and has since traveled near and far incorporating things he has learned in life to inspire all his books. He currently works for DCDSB working with special needs students which has him spending most of his time in a school setting; a great place for inspiration to write children's stories.
