Where Light Separates from Dark presents poetry that simply and honestly showcases the views and emotions of life through the eyes of poet Nicholas Olah. He presents written snapshots of his thoughts and portrayals of everything from the outdoors to relationships. These verses offer a ride with him through the ever-changing seasons of life and love. Serpentine Last night’s sky was a perfect color for the scene. The two of us, sprinting through whispers and words. And we ended up precisely where we started: two souls— haunted, like lost seconds in space— falling in and out of love.

About the Author

Nicholas Olah draws on his love for photography and outdoor scenery as his main inspirations for writing. He loves walking the mile-and-a-half trail in his neighborhood in the Chicago suburbs and watching the colors change during each of the four distinct midwestern seasons. When he is not writing, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and rooting for his Chicago sports teams.
