About the Book

Words evolve in definition over the centuries, as well as from one path in life to another. The word “cave” is a case in point. For mediums, the word originates as “boveda” (BO-vay-dah). The boveda consists of a grouping of glass goblets representing the spiritual quadrant of each medium. Boveda can also mean “hidden treasure box.” Indeed, this spiritual cave is a sanctuary from which our entities whisper their messages to us.

About the Author

Florencio Guevara was born in New York City’s borough of The Bronx, in 1946. His parents were born in Puerto Rico. He has been happily married since 1977 and has two daughters and four grandchildren. He is legally blind, diabetes having claimed his peripheral vision. Besides his native New York, Florencio has lived in Puerto Rico, Miami, and is currently in Kissimmee, Florida’s Polk County area. Mr. Guevara is a retired teacher. The author enjoys helping develop other mediums and spreading the seeds of the Great Work (La Obra). He has been a medium for over half a century, and considers it his life’s work. His first book, Mesa Blanca, the White Altar, was many years in the works. Written specifically for the average person in as plain a language as possible, this sequel, Whispers from the Cave, will delve deeper into the technical workings of mediumship and spiritual recipes and prayers for specific needs of the soul. It will also explore the realities of life for mediums, from the battle against discrimination to the battles against in-house gossip and ego clashes. Development of mediumship is a never-ending classroom. There is no graduation… Until you are called through the Veil, you will be developing. Even then, another process of development will begin….
