About the Author

Pookie is an example of a woman who has not only been tried in the fire of life, but has shown proof that the fire won’t keep her down. She is a woman of God whose past will make many cry, but her victories will instill so much hope for a better future. I have been so humbled after being asked to edit her book, going through each chapter of her life, and can’t help but to believe that the way she is has to do with the Holy Spirit. He has given her beauty, knowledge, intelligence, and a sense of humor that will have your stomach hurting from so much laughter. Pookie is the Author of this book, her testimony. I’m so thankful to have another sister in my life, and that I had the time to walk with her on this assignment.
