Puppy school was SOOOO hard. Oh my! I had so much energy. I wanted to run and play all the time. It was very hard for me to focus on what my mom was trying to teach me. This was all new and I wanted to check it all out. It was exciting to see that there were other puppies in my class too. YAY! Friends to play with! We would bark and pull on our leashes trying to get near each other. But, my mom told me that we couldn't play till we were done with school. :( UGH!

As an energetic puppy, Pharaoh encounters many challenges on his journey to become a service dog. It can be hard to learn new things. However, with practice and patience, he achieved his goal and became a service dog. Do you ever have trouble learning something new?
About the Author
About 6 years ago, I was diagnosed with a terminal, debilitating muscle condition. I was given 5-7 years to live and a painful prognosis for that time. It was suggested that I acquire a service dog to assist me in daily activities. Through a miraculous act of fate, I found Pharaoh and a service dog training group. Pharaoh and I attended classes weekly and practiced every day to become a productive working team. With his intervention, I have been given a new life expectation of another 5-6 years. Woohoo! During training, Pharaoh revealed a compassionate, empathetic spirit. I developed a plan to utilize his skills to impact children's lives. Therefore we began volunteering at local grade schools. The students absolutely love him and visa versa. Pharaoh is truly a blessing to me and so many others. Sharing his talents and skills has been beneficial to me and our community. I look forward to sharing his adventures and compassionate spirit with you.
