About the Author

Grandma Kimmy (Kim Strellis) is thrilled to turn the page with her first book of a series: It’s All Good Fur! Her roots in Illinois and Wyoming feed her love for dogs through all the wonderful connections of family and friends. Grandma Kimmy and her husband, Grandpa Jack have three grand-dogs, Sam, Marley and Folly. With five sons and one daughter, (Sam’s mom Tess), each with families of their own, there are a lot of belly laughs when the family gets together and sometimes problems too! Kim is the recipient of the 2013 Senior Service Illinois Governor’s Volunteer Service Award. Over 2,000 children and families in the St. Louis, Missouri-Metro-East area benefited from the children’s disaster preparedness program she created through the Monroe County, Illinois EMA (Emergency Management Agency).
