About the Book

About the Guide Discover Yourself! Life without a purpose is boring and meaningless. Without a purpose to live for, life becomes unfulfilling. This type of situation can be very dangerous, especially for young people. Life is fulfilling when you help someone else transform their life! The beneficiaries of this guide are young people aged twelve to eighteen; however, the user of this guide can be any individual working with young people—a youth pastor or minister, a parent, or a youth worker. Through the use of this training guide, young people will come to understand their identity in Christ and what they are living for. Many of our young people are pursuing success and fame as an end, but there is more than that to a person’s life. This guide will help young people understand that they can transform society for the better by using their gifts, talents, and passions. Whatever career path or passion they pursue in life is a platform to share the love, values, and principles of God with those around them. Life is more than having a great career, earning a great salary, or being famous. Life is about transforming others for the better! Let us help our young people grasp this truth early in their lives before their focus becomes centred on the wrong thing!

About the Author

June Clare Bugenyi is the co-founder of Personal Potential Discovery Program, a forum whose aim is to enable young people to establish their identity in Christ, identify their unique abilities, and pursue their purpose in life. She desires to see people living a purposeful life, a life that is centred in transforming individuals, families, communities, and nations for the better. June is a community and social development worker, with skills in project design, project planning and implementation, and project evaluation. She has skills in training design and facilitation, and volunteers with charitable organisations. June also likes to watch movies, sing, read books, cook, and bake. Her life experience as a senior single lady, the firstborn of a single parent and the tragic event of losing her only parent, formed the basis for her passion to see people living a purposeful life. Without a purpose to pursue, life for June could have been a more painful journey!
