About the Author

Dr. LaRonce M. Hendricks is an effective teacher, leader, and public speaker. She earned a Ed. D in Leadership from Valdosta State University and M.Ed. in Adult Education from Armstrong State University. Her passion for education became apparent when she taught English courses at a technical college in Georgia, which sparked her interest in her dissertation research, which explored how to get technical college students who are beginning their course work to become comfortable and skilled at the writing requirements required by higher education. In addition, her ability in relating to adults as an instructor has been apparent in her work on Fort. Stewart Army base working with veterans to help them adjust back to civilian life. She has contributed to the scholarship and integrity of the field of adult and career education, and she has proven that perseverance yields great dividends if one works hard enough at an endeavor.
