I usually go to the lake and feed the ducklings. Sometimes, the seagulls observe from above that there is food. So, they arrive with their white and acrobatic wings to eat. Yo acostumbro a darles un poco de pan a los patitos. Pero cuando las gavitos observan desde lo alto qye hay comida; ellas vienen con sus blancas y acrobaticas alas a comer.

About the Author
Claudia María Pereira was born in Nicaragua. She works in Miami, Florida, as a teacher and adjunct professor. She graduated from Saint Th omas University with a doctorate in education, with majors in educational leadership, reading, and TESOL. She enjoys teaching children how to read. Her passion is to inculcate in children the love of books and literacy.
