About the Author

Miss Pink is the youngest of the eight children her parents had. She started working at her old elementary school and worked there for thirteen years with kids from ages three through twelve and older as a welfare attendant. Aside from that, she also worked at a day care school for one year until finally, she began to open her own business and created a day care school. She thinks that teaching runs in her family because there are many people in her family that have their own day care, like her sister and niece. They all have goals—loving to see the children learning and play. She has a wonderful support system, which are her husband and son. Without them, she doesn’t think she would have started her day care. They pushed her and motivated her to go ahead and achieve her dream goal. Miss Pink received her license from DCFS in 2009. She is capable of servicing children in her AM schedule, which is 6 AM to 6 PM and also in her evening schedule, which is 6 PM to 12 AM five days a week. During her years of teaching, she knew she had a passion for helping children with diverse abilities. As time proceeded, she definitely knew she had to start a home day care of my own. With hard work, determination, patience, and prayer, Miss Pink opened up her own home day care center. She is doing what she enjoyed the most throughout her life, which is interacting with children and their families.
