I strongly believe in the power of affirmations and that positive thinking matters. This is the message that I want to get across to every child in the world. They have the power to change their lives. This book will teach children about positive thinking. It will also help them to embrace themselves and create the happy lives they deserve. Positive thinking will enable children to become confident, successful adults who achieve great things. So are you ready to discover the power that affirmations have? They are magical. Say it! Believe it! Live it! Get ready to soar, and discover positive thinking for unstoppable kids!

About the Author

The positivity queen, Pauletta M. Francis, has had a successful twenty-one-year teaching career with children and adults. One role which she was most proud of was that of a primary school K-5 literacy coach. It was during this time that she spent countless hours engaging students in interactive read-alouds. Discussing themes, big ideas, and engaging students in book club discussions were powerful strategies to support students to become lifelong readers who loved books. This was Pauletta’s primary goal. Her students got the message that reading is important. Many of them went “berserk” over books and, to this day, credit the inspiration of Ms. Francis in helping them along their literacy journey. This role as well as that of a mother who spent numerous hours buying, reading, and discussing books with her daughter qualifies her to write a children’s book. It is a lifelong dream that Pauletta has had. It has now come to fruition with the publication of her first book, Soar! Positive Thinking for Unstoppable Kids. Pauletta wrote this book because she firmly believes that positive thinking matters. She wants every child in the world to understand that affirmations are magical. The words they speak are powerful and will change their lives forever. She wants children everywhere to Say It! Believe It! Live It! She's on a quest to revolutionize the world through the power of positive words and thoughts. Pauletta lives on the beautiful, friendly island of Bermuda. She is passionate about exercise, which led her to achieve certifications in spinning and Les Mills’s BodyPump. She also presents internationally at conferences in the United States. Furthermore, she publishes articles for the hugely successful Bermuda Parent Magazine. Pauletta also teaches gifted student writers in the Centre for Talented Youth (CTY) Program in Bermuda. Finally, her passion for literacy has her teaching in a church General Education Certification (GED) Program. She is the proud mother of an adult daughter.
