the book is about showing my paintings to reach a wider audience to display my paintings and what they about i was inspired to produce my paintings by the subject and history of all my paintings

About the Author

I’ve painted all my life from the age of 11years I passed a scholarship to go to art Collage; I was there for 4 years at the age of 14 I finished at art Collage my first job was illustrating comic strips but I wasn’t happy. I left I then painted backdrops for a Film studio and Theatres I decided to go freelance, I worked for some of the biggest stores in London working on display. Designing the theme for window display and through out the store. A few years later I left and went back to collage to study to become an art teacher, I received my BA at the end of my course, this enabled me to work in an art studio I had reached my goal. I received commissions I enjoyed painting everything especially horses beautiful landscapes and portraits. I carried on until I met my Husband and raised my family once they fled the nest to make there own way in the world. I started to paint again until in the year 2000 I painted a hundred years of the Littlehampton lifeboat history the painting Was the first N.R.L,I collection procession in 1898 or 1900 with Littlehampton ‘s second lifeboat The ‘James Mercer and Elizabeth’ through Littlehampton High St, painted from a little black and white photo I reproduced a watercolour painting in the year 2000 I also painted several others to raise funds for the men that risk there life’s every time they put out to sea to rescue those that are in peril on the sea, My paintings hang on the walls of the new lifeboat house, I am now unable to paint any moor, After I suffered a stroke I decided to use the inspiration from my paintings to write do creative writhing short stories and pomes on my laptop computer as I am unable to walk I can only use my right hand writing is my life now Its what keeps me sane, I do hope you get some enjoyment? From my little book this year I will be 80 years old now I have decided to put all my paintings in a book I always kept a print of everything I painted so it will be easy to compile a book so others can enjoy my work.
